Bobbi Brown recently released a limited edition collaboration with British Artist / Designer Morag Myerscough. In this collaboration they released x1 9pan Eyeshadow Palette, x1 Highlighting Powder and x2 exclusive shades of their Crush Lip Colour formula all in limited edition packaging. This collection also came out with limited edition makeup bag.
My first eyeshadow and highlighter experience from Bobbi Brown, only have ever tried lip products and few face products from them. So this collection was really a good introduction to discover the brand and more of their products. Bobbi Brown normally doesn't appeal to me as much but I've always heard marvelous things about them. They mainly focus on makeup that really enhances natural beauty, they are considered to be a high-end makeup brand where some of their packaging can really accentuate that. Some of their products can be said to be holy grails in the beauty industry.
Concept & Packaging :
Such a bright and bold collaboration, this collection was designed by London based Artist Morag Myerscough who herself is very know to have this as one of her signatures where she creates fun art installations. She uses very bold and bright colours together with sharp lines and shapes to create atmospheric depth, an almost 3D like effect. This collaboration by Bobbi Brown undoubtedly celebrates the strength and influence of two remarkable female artist at the height of their crafts. Happy to support such a collaboration!

Play. Dream. Love Eyeshadow Palette is a 9pan Eyeshadow Palette with all new exclusive shades ranging in x3 mattes, x1 shimmer, x4 metallics and x1 glitter formulas. The colour story has a very natural neutral vibe to it, very versatile for all skin tones and can be used for a beautiful everyday look as well as a gorgeous night look. The formula is creamy and soft and highly pigmented in colour, I expected nothing less from Bobbi Brown quality of products. As for the packaging, love the diamond pan shape is very different but not uncommon. It certainly goes along with the whole aesthetic and identity of Morag Myerscough.

Highlighting Powder in Golden Rose Glow is an illuminating powder in an exclusive shade limited to this collaboration and packaging. Golden Rose Glow shade is a combination of Bobbi Brown's highlighting powder in Afternoon Glow, Sunrise Glow and Gold. Best to swirl the powder together to get a gorgeous gold pink shade. The formula is soft, cream and highly pigmented. This highlighter can be applied to be super blinding or buffed into the skin to diffuse the intensity for an all over natural glow, all i can say is abit goes a long way. Such a stunning product. Love that each different item has its own custom design by the Artist Morag Myerscough.
Crush Lip Color. One of Bobbi Brown's best seller lip products, I certainly remember when BB released this new lip range, there was so much hype but for obvious good reason. I myself now own x7 different shades of the Crush Lip Color, because of the great formulation. The Crush Lip Color range is a highly pigmented hydrating balm like lipstick. It provides the lips with moisture along with pigmentation, my go to lip product when I have dry lips especially during the fasting time (Ramadhan) or during the winter time. For the collaboration with Artist Morag Mysercough, Bobbi Brown released x2 exclusive limited edition shades Peach Passion which can be describe as a a pale neutral peachy pink and Rosy Dream which is a rich mauve both lovely colours. Recommend trying it!
BB X Morag Myerscough Makeup Bag. When I purchased this collection on Lazada Malaysia Bobbi Brown Official Store it came together with a free makeup bag with either purchase of the highlighter or the eyeshadow palette. The makeup bag has the same bold fun design as the highlighter and the makeup bag contains x2 separate pouches, easier to divide and store makeup accordingly. The bag is also is bigger than what it looks like, it stores the entire collection perfectly and with ample room for other products as well!
Overall pleasantly surprise with this collection, enjoying the eyeshadow and highlighter so much that now I understand why many others rave about it as well. As for the overall look and feel of the collection, it is stunningly bold and fun such a testament to the art / design style of Morag Myerscough. Wishing this collaboration had more hype than what it has, but this collection leaves me feeling excited for future collabs & collections from Bobbi Brown.
