Dasique Summer Coral Collection is Dasique summer collection that was released this year. Dasique is a Korean cosmetic brand founded in 2019 by BY ECOM a small Korean skincare brand created by Korean Influencer Ecom (Ecom0920). BY ECOM also has other brands/companies under their imbrella which include By Ecom (Skincare), Dasique (Makeup) & After Blow (Perfume).
Dasique is inspired by flowers that bloom and wilt in the course of nature, it is a cosmetic brand that helps to cultivates the true beauty in you. Dasique derives many if not all it's concepts of their collections & products from nature, by creating colour palettes & formulas that helps to bring out the beauty within you.
In this Summer Coral collection Dasique released x1 18pan Eyeshadow Palettes, x5 Juicy Lip Tint, x1 Layering Blush Palette & x3 Loose Glitters. All shades & palettes are exclusive & limited to the Summer Coral Collection!
I would classify them as mid-range drug store brand where their prices are similar or comparable to Western/Asian brands like CLIO, 3CE, Flower Knows, UNLEASHIA, etc. If you want to know more on this Cosmetic brand and some of their products keep reading!
Concept & Packaging :
Summer Coral is such a fun & bright collection, Dasique to me did such a wonderful job with the whole aesthetic and colour tone for this collaboration. The main colour story of this collection is coral pink colour with majority of the shades leaning towards a more warmer undertones. The colours of this collection ranges from stunning pale warm pinks to muted orange & some elegants soft warm browns. Everything is inspired by summer, the beach, the ocean & yes of course corals! Packaging wise, the base colour of majority if the collection is a pretty pale pink coral shade that really goes well with the colour story of the collection.
The Summer Coral collection is has a fun but very feminine vibe. The colour story for the products also follow suit with the entire scheme. My favourite product in terms of packaging & display would have to the blusher, the coral/wave embossed detail for the blush is such a pretty added touch. This is my first collection & purchase of any Dasique products, but to me Dasique really does a great job at curating collections and puts alot of thought & details into creating a cohesive collection.

Shadow Palette (#23 Summer Coral). Dasique released a x1 18pan eyeshadow palette for this collection. The shades in the palette range from pretty warm light pinks shades to vivid coral pink shades. The palette also has some nice warm beige & brown shades as well. The palette consist of x8 Mattes, x2 Matte Glitter, x2 Shimmer Glitter, x2 Marble Shimmer,and x2 Chucky Glitter Shade that all have their different formulas.
The formula of the Mattes (Linen, Seashell, Light Salmon, Creamy Coral, Coral, Flamingo, Sandy Beach & Coconut) are super soft and silky but is also very powdery at the same time. The mattes has a tiny bit of kickback but the pan size is really too small to notice. The formula has pretty good pigmentation, the lighter shades are actually decent in pigment but need to be built up since it did not really suit my skintone well. The mattes blended and layered well, and sit on skin very nicely.
The Matte Glitter (Papaya Whip & Burn) shades have the same base formula as the matte shades but just with tiny micro glitter scattered throughout the base shade. Both shades have good pigmentation but the glitter can be abit messy to work with. Not my favourite type of formula to apply but if used as an overall wash of colour can be very pretty.
The Chunky Glitter (Icing Bubble & Watermelon) shades is soft but also has a grittier feel due to the chunky glitters. The glitter formula comprises of tiny micro glitter that is tightly compact together along with bigger chunkier glitter that is scattered across the base adhesive. The pigmentation is abit sheer but can also be layered & built-up to achieve maximum reflectiveness & colour payoff but the formula can also leave more of a sheen if layered enough. All shades layers & adheres well on top of other shadows and stays in place with minimum fall-out. I find the glitter shades to be best applied using finger tips.
The Shimmer Glitter (Shining Sand, Bare Coral, Sunset Flake & Mangosteen) shades are soft & silky but has abit of a stiff & dry texture. The formula has tiny micro-glitters compressed together that give the shades a nice sheen. The shimmer formula gives more of a wash of colour to the lids instead of high-shine reflectiveness. The pigment is sheer but the glitter shade can be layered & built-up for a nice shine. The glitter shades in my opinion are applied best with finger tips.
The Marble Shimmer (Orange Sherbet & Honey Blond) shades are both soft and silky feel to them. Both shades have tiny micro glitters that meld together without any feel of grittiness. The pigment is sheer but the shades can be layered & built-up for a nice shine. The shimmer shades in my opinion are applied best with finger tips & this formula adheres better on matte shades compared to the shimmer glitter shades.
Overall I am stunned by the quality & formula of this eyeshadow palette. All the shades were stunning & all the formulas worked so well! I am a person who definitely leans more towards matte shadow formulas but all the shimmers & glitters in this palette stole my heart. Very in love & will be placing it on my top shelf for more uses!
Juicy Dewy Tint (#16 Chili Serber) From this set Dasique released x5 shades of their Juicy Dewy Tint for this collection. The shades I purchased from this collection is Chili Serbet which is described as a clear chili colour with a hint of orange. For the Summer Coral collection, all lip products have an amazing peach scent that is smells so good!
The formula is lightweight & has a gel like texture which is a very typical consistency of alot of lip tints I own & tried but also absorbs fairly quickly compared to them. It feels very comfortable, hydrating on the lips & has a very nice slick feeling that is almost like an oil. The lip tint is sheer in pigmentation but has a nice shine/lustre finish. It's lightweight feeling and non-sticky giving the lips a nice wash of colour. The tinting effect is immediate, only needing to sit on the skin/lips for a few minutes to see the effect but is not as lasting as other formulas i tried. I do notice that after some time, the initial pigment does fade away slightly after the tinting effect has taken place. The formula layers really well without feeling stringy or goopy on the lips and the shine is very nice, not overly glossy but has a nice reflectiveness to the finish. Overall, it's a very good lip tint with good formula that is conformable & very hydrating! Definitely recommend!
Blending Layer Cheek (#01 Summer Coral) For this collection Dasique released a powder blush duo that have x4 gradient of colours for each shade. On the right side of the blush there is a gradient of pink shades while on the right there is a gradient of coral shades. Both gradients are very pretty & the embossing is a very nice added detail that helps tie it back to the collection.
The formulation is soft and smooth but firmer to the touch, which I can appreciate since it does help maintain the stunning embossed design even after several uses. The lighter shades in the duo feels abit chalky and there is abit of kickback but not as much as to for me to be concern. The Blush Duo has good pigmentation & the colours can be layered and built up without looking cakey. It is a natural soft blush thats gives the cheeks a nice soft flushed look.
As for the overall shade in general, it will suit majority of skintones due to the variety & the flexibility of costumizing the shade based on your skin tone. For Me, I don't use the shades in the duo individualy but prefer to use them all together.
Overall, a beautiful blush with great formula! Wishing Dasique comes out with more of these gradient blushes!
Summer Coral Mini Lip Gloss (Gift with Set). From this collection Dasique released a Mini Lip Gloss together with the Blush Duo while the Mini Shell Lip Balm was together with the Eyeshadow Palette in limited edition sets. I purchased both sets in order to get these mini limited edition gifts. I won't be reviewing the Mini Shell Lip Balm only because I love how it looks in prestine condition & don't want to ruin it!
The Mini Lip Gloss has a jelly like consistency that is thick but surprisingly doesn't feel thick at all on the lips. The gloss is a very pretty sheer coral shade & has tiny micro glitters scattered in the formula. The pigmentation is very sheer & once on the lips isn't noticeable, as for the glitter it's not very notciable but gives the formula abit more added shine. The Mini Lip Gloss is hydrating, is very comfortable on the lips & has a good amount of shine. Overall a very nice formula, I don't mind the glitters because you can't feel them in the formula & they add some extra special shine.
Overall, I loved everything I purchased from Dasique & this collection! Every products performed well & all the formulas were really great! I don't have a favourite of outstanding products as they all are stars in my opinion and I'm happy to have purchased & have this in my collection!
The whole collection feels very thought through and love that Dasique creates & curates collections, I always feel they are a great introduction to someone new to the brand.
I definitely can understand why Dasique is a beloved cosmetic brand in Korea & is looking forward (and buying) to seeing more from them!
