FLORTTE Flower Food Bear Collection is one of Flortte's recent collection that was released in March of this year for spring of 2023.
FLORTTE is a Chinese cosmetic brand founded in 2014 that offers a wide range of products such as lipsticks, eye shadows, foundations, etc. Flortte is owned by a company called Shenzhen Mira Cosmetics Co. Ltd., which is based in China. The company was founded in 2014, around the same time as Flortte, and is primarily focused on developing and manufacturing cosmetics and skincare products.
Shenzhen Mira Cosmetics Co., Ltd. claims to have state-of-the-art production facilities and utilizes advanced technology and equipment to ensure high-quality products. They also claim to prioritize environmental sustainability and have implemented eco-friendly practices in their manufacturing process. In addition to their own brand, Flortte, Shenzhen Mira Cosmetics Co., Ltd. also provides private label services for other companies, meaning they can manufacture and produce cosmetic and skincare products under different brand names for other businesses. Flortte's main distributor is The Colorist, who is a C-Beauty retailer similar to Olive Young in Korea. The Colorist, as I know does not own any cosmetic/skincare brand under them but instead consolidates popular / rising C-Beauty brands under one roof. Brands include FLORTTE, JudyDoll, ColorKey, AMORTALS, HOLDLIVE, etc.
FLORTTE I my opinion caters more to the younger crowd, majority of their packaging & collections are cute, fun & have a very youthful vibe to them. In this Flower Food Bear collection Flortte released x2 Quad Eyeshadow Palettes, x6 Matte Lip Mud Lipstick, x5 Eyeliners x2 Blusher Shades & x1 Contour/Shading Palette.
I would classify them as an affordable brand where their prices are similar or comparable to Western/Asian drug store (Etude House / Judydoll / Peripera, Colorkey) but some of their formula's are similar to middle range Korean / Chinese brand products. Concept & Packaging :
FLORTTE's Flower Food Bear Collection is such a cute & fun collection. The collection has a muted pastel vibe. All shades & packaging of the products have different bear printed arrangements on them, giving this entire collection a bit of uniqueness with every product.
The entire collection is also embellished with a "Flower Food Bear" print that follow suit with the entire scheme and gives it a very youthful kawaii touch. Overall, I love the packaging & all the details & small elements of this collection. It's very cute & girly, some products like the eyeshadow palette & blush comes with a matching bear keychain which really adds a fun element. But I also felt like it was missing abit of something, I actually prefer the Nice to Meet Chu collection in terms of details. The ripple / wave like effect in previous collection gave it a very nice element to the packaging and is what I feel is missing in this collection. Overall still cute & kawaii!
Products :
The images below are some of the products I purchased from the Collection/Brand.

Flower Food Bear 4-Color Eyeshadow Palette (#01 Creamy Ice Flakes). FLORTTE released x2 quad eyeshadow palette for this collection that comes with a keychain based on the shade. The palettes consist of a mixture of Mattes, Matte Glitters & Shimmer Glitter formulas. I purchased 01 Cream Ice Flakes which has x1 pure Matte, x2 Matte Glitter & x1 Shimmer Glitter formula. The formula of this palette is similar to that of the Nice to Meet Chu Collection.
The formula of the Matte shade is soft and silky but is also very powdery/chalky at the same time. Surprisingly has good pigmentation but the shade does need to be built-up to reach full opacity. The matte formula layer & blend well but has abit of kickback but nothing major. For me the best application for this light blue shade is to pack the colour on the lids with dense eyeshadow brush instead of buffing the colour slowly by slowly. I also do notice that after time, the colour does tend to lose abit of its vibrancy but nothing to drastic.
As for the Matte Glitter shades I noticed that both shades are slightly different. The Pale Purple Grey shade, actually has smaller micro glitters and is less condense as compared to Brown shade glitter. Both shades have the same base formula as the matte shadows and I actually don't mind that the Purple Grey shade has scattered glitters, it's not very noticeable & has less fall out to be concern about. As for the Brown shade, it can leave some fallout coming form the glitters. I wouldn't mind using it but I would apply my eyeshadow first before applying my foundation.
The Shimmer Glitter shade is soft and has a putty like feel to them. All shade has tiny micro glitters scattered compactly together creating a base to the formula. The Shimmer Glitter shade in the pan can look white in color but on the skin it it actually a very stunning pink iridescent shade with multiple colour shifts. The pigment is sheer but the shades can be layered & built-up for a nice sheen like effect. The formula layer & adhere very well even with a brush but in my opinion are applied best with finger tips.
This is my 2nd small quad eyeshadow palette from FLORTTE, and I'm happy they maintained the same quality as the Nice to Meet Chu collection. Overall, I really enjoyed this product from the formula to the colour story & the packaging. Another hidden gem by FLORTTE!

Flower Food Bear Lip Mud Lipstick (#05 Caramel Mocha Sauce). From this collection FLORTTE released x6 shades of their Lip Mud Lipstick formula, all shades comes with their own cute bear packaging. I purchased are #05 Caramel Mocha Sauce which to me is a very pretty mauve shade with abit of a purple undertone.
The Lip Mud formula is thick in texture but feels very lightweight and has a mousse like consistency on the lips, and is also very similar feeling to the Flower Knows Cloud Lip Creams & Unleashia's Hug Velvet Tint formula but I can tell it's less moisturizing compared to the two. It has great pigmentation leaving the lips with velvet like matte finish. The formula easily glides on the lips & can easily build-up without any patchy-ness and full colour opacity is easily achievable. With x2 thin layers, my dark lips are well covered.
The formula is light weight and non-drying, it does fills in the fine lines on my lips and I like that I can create a very soft but blurred out lip look very easily. My favourite method to applying this is to apply thin layers at first, then using my fingers to spread & tap the product into my lips for a soft blur effect. I also noticed that after the product fully sets, the formula stays on the lips with little or no transfer! I find that the trick with getting a little or no transfer with these velvet like formulas is to apply thin layers gradually and blurring it out instead of applying thick layer and letting it set.
Overall, I really like this formula very much, it gives the lips beautiful colour that is also very comfortable to wear. This Lip Mud has made it into my handbag and I've been reaching for this all the time, I pair this with the Unleashia Hug Velvet tint in Share to give some gradient to my lips! Definitely recommend!

Flower Food Bear Waterproof Eyeliner (#03 Baby Blue). For this collection FLORETTE released x5 Eyeliners shades (Brown, Green, Light Blue, Pink & Purple). I purchased the shade #03 which is a soft sky blue shade to match the quad eyeshadow palette I purchased.
The formula has a very nice consistency overall, it's not runny or thick and lays on the skin very nicely. It doesn't bleed into creases or fine lines, but instead stays put where you place it. As for the pigmentation, I'm very surprised by the overall opacity of the light blue shade. The colour payoff is very nice, and it easily layers & builds up. But I did notice that it is best to let layers dry fully before adding new layers on top, because it can move or remove the previous layer if still abit wet. As for it's claims to be waterproof, I can confirm it is! BUT if you start rubbing or smudging with water it can still come off. Also the Eyeliner has a brush tip that allows very thin & precise application. Overall, it's a very good eyeliner formula and I love the colour! Definitely worth the buy!

The Flower Food Bear collection is very cute & I love that FLORTTE added keychains as well to this collection, it really gives a fun element. Overall, I love everything I purchased! They all worked so well & beyond my overall expectation. After the Nice to Meet Chu Collection, I was abit skeptical about the eyeliner & lip mud but now am pleasantly surprised. Everything in my opinion are hits. The quad eyeshadow performed just as well as the Nice to Meet Chu collection, but the Eyeliner & the Lip Mud are my favourite items from this purchase. If I had to pick one, my top would have to be the Lip Mud! It performed well, just like / even better then other top C-Beauty & K-Beauty brands velvet lip formulas! It's pigmented, fills in fines lines for a beautiful blurred effect that is comfortable on the lips. It also has little to no transfer & has even made it's way into my handbag! As for the eyeliner, it's exactly what you would like an eyeliner formula to be! Pigmented but glides on smoothly, not runny so it doesn't bleed into creases or fine lines, has a precise but flexible brush tip for detailed application and best of all it doesn't flake & it's waterproof! I definitely recommend any of the products here!
