Flower Knows recently released their new 2022 Chocolate Wonder-Shop collection, Flower Knows is a Chinese cosmetic company that was founded in 2016 by Boazi and Hana, who are two well-known Cosplayers and social media Influencers. So far, Flower Knows has expanded its business to Southeast Asia, Japan, Europe, and the United States, accelerating its expansion into the global market. As of March 2021, Flower Knows has entered more than 1,000 Japanese stores and won the 2021 Shopee Seller Awards.

Concept & Packaging :
Flower Knows is really well known in China for their stunning packaging & the Chocolate Wonder-Shop Series is no exception to that. Flower Knows packaging has so many elements, are really intricate in design & well crafted. The quality of the packaging reminds me of my Sailor Moon Replica Compacts by Bandai, really high-quality plastic molding.
The series is inspired by British plaid and vintage elements, the Chocolate Wonder-Shop series packaging has many different colours all depending on the shade of product you purchase. The collection's main design focus is the silhouette portrait of a girl with a twist braid and it can be seen prominently on many products. Not only that but the packaging displays all different kind of plaid design with different colours and is heavy embellished by gold lattice accents that really brings this elegant collection together as a whole. Overall, I'm very impressed with the level of detail the packaging has & the intricacy of every product I purchased. This is the second collection I have purchased from Flower Knows & they really don't dissapoint!

Chocolate Wonder-Shop Eight-Color Eyeshadow Palette (02 Young Sheperdess). Flower Knows released a x3 8pan Eyeshadow Palettes for this series. I purchased shade 02 Young Sheperdess which has a colour story that ranges from greens, beiges, and neutral nudes. All x3 8pan Eyeshadow Palettes have x6 Mattes & x2 Shimmers formulas.
The formula of the Mattes are super soft and silky but is also very powdery/chalky at the same time. They have good pigmentation but the shades do need to be built-up to reach full opacity. The matte formula layer & blend well but has abit of kickback and even though this palette leans to the cool tones, I did not have any issues with a shades changing in colour slightly and looking ashy or muddy. The matcha green shade is to me the star of this palette & it preformed better than expected, it maintained its colour and was very smooth to work with.
The Shimmer shades (shell shape pan) is soft but has a stiff texture. The formula has tiny micro-glitters compressed together that give the shades a nice sheen. The shimmer formula gives more of a wash of colour to the lids instead of high-shine reflectiveness. The pigment is sheer but the shades can be layered & built-up for a nice shine. The shimmer shades in my opinion are applied best with finger tips. (RM107)
Chocolate Wonder Shop Cloud Lip Cream (CH03 Honey Apricot & CH07 Fireplace Tea).. From this series Flower Knows released x9 wearable shades of their Cloud Lip Cream. I purchased x2 shades out of the range, the x2 shades are Honey Apricot which is described as coral nude shade while Fireplace Tea is described as a peachy brown shade.
The Cloud Lip Cream formula is thick in texture but feels very lightweight and has a mousse like consistency on the lips. It has good pigmentation leaving the lips with velvet like matte finish. The formula easily glides on the lips & can easily build-up without any patchy-ness and full colour opacity is easily achievable. With a few layers, my dark spots on my lips are well covered. As for it's claims to being transferproof, the formula is definitely not fully transferproof but I did notice very minimal transfer to surfaces after the product dried.
Overall, I really like this formula very much, it's not drying to the lips and gives a nice natural colour that is very comfortable to wear. Will definitely be checking out more shades from this range. (RM77).
Chocolate Wonder-Shop Embossed Blush (03 Tartan Coat). For this collection Flower Knows released x4 pressed powder blushes, I purchased shade Tartan Coat (03) which is described as a Brown Fig shade but is similar to a dusty muted coral shade. The formulation is soft and smooth but firmer to the touch, which I can appreciate since it does help maintain the stunning embossed design even after several uses. There is abit of kickback but not as much as to for me to concern. The pigmentation is sheer in nature, but the colour can be layered and built up without looking cakey and powdery. Because it blends well, it does give my cheeks a nice soft flushed look. Overall, a great blush with absolutely stunning packaging, I love the shade I purchased and have been really enjoying Flower Knows blush formulas (RM79).
Chocolate Wonder-Shop Mascara (#02 Brown) For this collection Flower Knows released a mascara with x2 shades for the Chocolate Wonder-Shop collection. I purchased the Brown shade because I've really been into a softer lash look lately. This mascara is said to lengthen, curl & volumize lashes. The formula also contains fibers to help create length and also has a slight curved/tapered shape design to better help precise application.
The formula is actually thin compared to alot of traditional mascara formula I own, it coats my lashes thinly but evenly without creating any clumps. The tiny fibers adheres to my lashes creating length but I don't feel like the mascara did much in terms of giving volume. The mascara layers well & length can be built-up to the desired length without looking thick. The formula dries pretty fast and does help to hold the curl after curling my lashes. The mascara feels lightweight on the lashes & also feel soft to the touch. Overall, it's a very nice mascara for lengthening giving my lashes a very natural length effect. I also appreciate the small brush along with the curve end for precise application that works well for both my upper & bottom lashes. I definitely would recommend this mascara those who have sparse & thin lashes who are looking for a soft natural look. (RM72)
Another stunning & whimsical collection from Flower Knows! I really enjoyed everything I purchased & will definitely continue to use them even though it means loosing the stunning embossing. Flower Knows always creates & curates beautiful collections & the Chocolate Wonder-Shop really doesn't disappoint. Their overall product formulas to me are solid, not the highest quality but the trade off for packaging & dreamy concept experience is really worth it! Flower Knows is slowly becoming one of my top C-Beauty makeup brands to look out for!
