Flower Knows released their Strawberry Rococo collection on 28th August 2022, Flower Knows is a Chinese cosmetic company that was founded in 2016 by Boazi and Hana, who are two well-known Cosplayers and social media Influencers. So far, Flower Knows has expanded its business to Southeast Asia, Japan, Europe, and the United States, accelerating its expansion into the global market. As of March 2021, Flower Knows has entered more than 1,000 Japanese stores and won the 2021 Shopee Seller Awards.

Concept & Packaging :
Flower Knows is really well known in China for their stunning packaging & the Strawberry Rococo Series is no exception to that. Flower Knows packaging has so many elements, are really intricate in design & well crafted. The quality of the packaging reminds me of my Sailor Moon Replica Compacts by Bandai, really high-quality plastic molding.
The Strawberry Rococo series is inspired the classic elements and colorways of the 18th century Rococo era. With all Flower Knows series, the packaging has many different colours all depending on the shade of product you purchase. The collection's main design is the combination of strawberry dessert and vintage rococo style and it can be seen prominently on all products. The packaging is heavy embellished by gold vintage accents that really brings this elegant collection together while the Strawberry theme add abit of playfulness. Overall, I'm very impressed with the level of detail the packaging has & the intricacy of every product I purchased. This is the third collection I have purchased from Flower Knows & they really don't disappoint!

Strawberry Rococo Five-Color Eyeshadow Palette (05 Creamy Macarons). Flower Knows released a x5 5pan Eyeshadow Palettes for this series. I purchased shade 05 Creamy Macarons which has more pastel colour story as compared to the other palettes. All x5 5pan Eyeshadow Palettes have x4 Mattes & x1 Glitter formulas.
The formula of the Mattes are super soft and silky but is also very powdery/chalky at the same time. They have decent pigmentation and the shades do need to be built-up to reach full opacity. The matte formula layer & blend well but has abit of kickback and even though this palette has alot of light muted shades, I did not have any issues with a shades changing in colour slightly and looking ashy or muddy. Overall all the matte shades preformed better than expected, it maintained its colour and was very smooth to work with.
The Glitter shade (Diamond shaped pan) is soft but has a stiff texture. The formula has tiny micro-glitters compressed together that give the shades a nice sheen. The shimmer formula gives more of a wash of colour to the lids instead of high-shine reflectiveness. The pigment is sheer but the glitter shade can be layered & built-up for a nice shine. The glitter shades in my opinion are applied best with finger tips. (RM107/USD35)
Strawberry Rococo Cloud Lip Cream (S03 Café Mocha & S06 Tea Break). From this series Flower Knows released x9 wearable shades of their Cloud Lip Cream. I purchased x2 shades out of the range, the x2 shades are Café Mocha (03) which is described as muted orange brown while Tea Break (06) is described as a cool grey pink shade.
The Cloud Lip Cream formula is thick in texture but feels very lightweight and has a mousse like consistency on the lips. It has good pigmentation leaving the lips with velvet like matte finish. The formula easily glides on the lips & can easily build-up without any patchy-ness and full colour opacity is easily achievable. With a few layers, my dark spots on my lips are well covered. The formula fills in fine lines giving a fuller look to the lips & a blurred out look is easily achievable.
Overall, I really like this formula very much! It's very comfortable while also giving very nice colour to the lips. But if I had to choose between the Strawberry Rococo or the Chocolate Wonder-Shop Lip Creams, I would go for the Chocolate Wonder-shop formulations. Both are actually very similar but the Strawberry Rococo formula tends to be abit drying after some time & is not as transferproof. Packaging wise Strawberry Rococo still has my heart over the other collections I own. (RM77/USD20).
Srawberry Rococo Embossed Blush (05 Berry Mary). For this collection Flower Knows released x5 pressed powder blushes, I purchased shade Berry Mary (05) which is described as strawberry pink shade & is the most darkest shade out of the range. The formulation is soft and smooth but firmer to the touch, which I can appreciate since it helps to maintain the stunning embossed design even after several uses. There is abit of kickback but not as much as to for me to concern. The pigmentation is sheer in nature, but the colour can be layered and built up without looking cakey and powdery. Because it blends well, it does give my cheeks a nice soft flushed look. Overall, a great blush with absolutely stunning packaging, I love the shade I purchased and have been really enjoying Flower Knows blush formulas (RM79/USD26).
Another stunning & whimsical collection from Flower Knows! I really enjoyed everything I purchased & will definitely continue to use them even though it means loosing the stunning embossing. Flower Knows always creates & curates beautiful collections & the Strawberry Rococo series really doesn't disappoint. Their overall product formulas to me are solid, not the highest quality but the trade off for packaging & dreamy concept experience is really worth it!
The Strawberry Rococo series to me is one of their best collections in terms of concept, packaging & colour themes / colour ways. As for the formulations, the eyeshadow & blush still have Flower Knows base formula that is the same as previous / other collections. The only formulation that was slightly different was the Lip Cream, overall a nice formula but the Chocolate Wonder-Shop formula is slightly better in terms of wear time & comfortability.
Other than that, Flower Knows is becoming one of my top C-Beauty makeup brands to look out for!
