To be honest i've never been a macaron fan so I know Laduree mainly for their makeup instead of their desserts. But their makeup packaging is like a French Riviera dream, elegant and stunning any makeup enthusiast would love! Most famous for their Rose Petal Blush, Les Merveilleuses Laduree has been representing the French “art de vivre” based on the philosophy, “What is really beautiful can intrinsically enchant women by exciting their five senses in an overwhelming manner.”
In the 18th century, young Parisian women cast off the post-revolution reign of terror and strict morals, aspiring for freedom and liberation. These women also created a unique trend. Known as Les Merveilleuses, they embodied the goddess of liberty in every sense, whether that be in thought, behaviour or fashion.
Inspired by them and this philosophy, the stunning makeup collection really embodies this beautiful concept perfectly! From the feel of the product in the hands to the stunning visual and signature rose scent everything from Laduree feels of classical french luxury and art!

Face Color Rose Laduree (02) is Laduee's famous Rose Petal Blusher. The pride and joy of Laduree's makeup collection, a unique blusher in shape and form. The formula is a powder blush that is saturated on synthetic rose petals and by swirling the brush in petals the pigment is distributed. After several use the petals lose their pigments and it ends up looking like faded petals.
As for the powder formulation, its super pigmented, blends and layers well! Staying power is amazing! Last more than the standard 4hours. Only note is that best to use a tapered fluffy brush for better pick up of the powder. Other than that, the inly downside is the price! Like WTF the price comes separately for the petals and the container, but since it lasts me sooo long i think i'll get my moneys worth sooner or later. (RM304 Blush Petals & RM115 Pot)
Pressed Cheek Color N (09 & 107) is Laduree's press powder blush, they often come out with limited edition packaging and colour for seasonal collections. I purchased x1 from their standard collection and x1 from a limited edition collections. 09 is a beautiful neutral midtone mauve while 107 is a pastle purple pink both absolutely gorgeous. The formula is abit stiff but i don't mind it because it helps to keep the stunning embossing on top in tact. There isn't much fallout and the blush is soft that it blends well. Overall very good blush that its too pretty to use! (RM224)
Lip Gloss (04 & 07) is Laduree's standard lip gloss, it comes in the most beautiful Victorian leg/shoe packaging! I feel like its somewhat abit sexy. Overall there are x13 shades from the lip gloss range, i purchased x2 out of them. One of the most unique packaging i've seen so far and the two shades i purchased are so gorgeous! 04 is a sheer light pink base with tiny micro shimmers and glitters making it look like an almost rose gold shade. While 07 is a creme medium cool pink shade. The formula is super smooth on the lips, not gloopy or stringy and it gives off a more medium shine. Both shades are sheer coverage just barely giving the lips a wash of colour. Overall it's a good feeling lipgloss that's very comfortable on the lips and makes my lips feel moisturised. Only feedback is the plastic/rubber applicator is not the best in my opinion. (RM135)
Lip Color (09) is Laduree's standard lip colour, they released a total of x10 shades from the range. Out of the x10 i purchased shade 09 which is a medium cool tone pink. The formulation is similar to the liquid rouge but with abit more pigmentation. Feels lightweight on the lips but with sheer to almost medium coverage, the finish is a creem shine. Not as reflective as the lip gloss but not matte and is comfortable on the lips. Overall just an ok lipstick for the price in my opinion. (RM118)
Liquid Rouge (02) is one of liquid lipstick range, Laduree released x6 shades from this range. I purchased shade 02 which is a light neutral peach tone. The packaging feels very nice in the hands, very ergonomically because of the organic curves and the rose bud top is stunning and feels slightly heavy. The formulation of this is slightly thicker in consistency as compared to the lip gloss formula. Feels abit heavy on the lips, and when layered gets thick and stringy. Pigmentation is sheer in coverage with a shine finish, I wont ever be able to layer it to full opacity without it being a mess on my lips. Overall, just an ok liquid lipstick but with stunning packaging.(RM118)
Overall there are some Hits and Misses in the range. I definitely think powdered colour products from Laduree are stunning! Out of the products, i would recommend the Pressed Powder Blush along with the famous Face Color Rose blush! Great formula with great colour range and stunning packaging! Erm, not a fan of their lip products, not to say they are bad, it's just not for my liking. Also not very big on the signature rose powder scent. Other than that, Les Merveilleuses Laduree is a beautiful cosmetic brand!
