Mamonde is a well-known Korean beauty brand under parent company Amore Pacific Corporation. Amore Pacific is a Huge South Korean beauty and cosmetics conglomerate with 30 beauty, personal care, and health brands under their umbrella. Brands under their umbrella include Sulwhasoo, Laneige, Mamonde, Etude House, AMOREPACIFIC, Innisfree, Aritaum, Espoir and even Hanyul.
Mamonde debuted in 1991 focusing more on skincare but throughout their years have released a few makeup products. Mamonde's concept is a brand that conveys the values of confident women in pursuit of a world of their own, with its name indicating MA (my) + MONDE (world). Inspired by flowers, Mamonde is devoted to studying them for 28 years, Mamonde sincerely conveys the amazing vitality and flowering energy of flowers in their products. This South Korean skincare label incorporates the best of floral extracts into its extensive range of skincare and makeup, believing that these ingredients will help the skin bloom to its fullest potential. Their skincare & makeup range incorporates flowers such as Damascus Roses, Hibiscus, Honeysuckles, Narcissus, Lotuses and more.
I would classify them as an affordable makeup brand where their prices are similar or comparable to Western/Asian drug store (Etude House / Nyx / Milani) but some of their skincare products are similar to middle range / high-end Korean price range. Concept & Packaging :
The entire concept of Mamonde is a brand that conveys the values of confident women in pursuit of a world of their own by incorporating flowers/floral essence. Mamonde's whole aesthetic is very pure & feminine at the same time.
Packaging wise to me it has a very simple yet sophisticated feel, the packaging uses minimal shapes & feminine colours making it that don't over complicate. The packaging colour ranges from pearlescent white, muted pinks but also has touches of rose gold giving the packaging a very elegant sophisticated vibe. The signature "oldstyle french" font used throughout it's product packaging really helps tie the look & aesthetics of the brand, adding another layer or touch of feminism. Overall, I'm definitely a huge fan of their branding & aesthetics.

Brightening Cover Powder Cushion (23N Natural Beige) is one of Mamonde's cushion foundation that comes in x5 shades. The foundation contains Peach blossom powder mixed well with the coverage particles in the formula to provide a clean coverage over skin imperfections and pores. I purchased the darkest/deepest shade but with neutral undertone which is 23N Natural Biege, the foundation was slightly lighter when applied but did oxidize slightly making it just right for my skintone. The coverage is good, it has a medium coverage that is buildable enough to where my dark spots were only slightly visible underneath a few layers. The formula has the standard consistency foundation, slightly thick with some body to it and has a nice cooling sensation when applied. The formula has a semi-matte finish with a skin like effect, but I notice that it does take abit of time to set leaving abit of a tacky feeling. I would still need to definitely apply some powder to fully set this foundation. It sits on the skin so beautifully, not settling in my fine lines but also layers / builds well without looking patchy or cakey. Overall, I think it is a wonderful affordable natural matte foundation that I will definitely use again. (RM85)
All Stay Foundation (23N Sand) is one of Mamonde's foundation that comes in x6 shades.
I purchased the darkest/deepest shade but with neutral undertone which is 23N Sand, the foundation similar to the cushion was slightly lighter when applied but did oxidize slightly making it just right for my skintone. The coverage is good similar to the cushion but has slightly better coverage, it has a medium coverage that is buildable enough to where only a few of my dark spots were slightly visible underneath a few layers. The formula is lightweight & has the standard consistency foundation, slightly thick with some body to it & has a heavy scent of SPF. The formula has a dewy finish and dies not set leaving behind abit of a tacky feeling, I would definitely need to set the entire face with powder. But after setting the face, the skin still retains is glowiness making the skin looks fresh & natural. It sits on the skin so beautifully, not settling in my fine lines but also layers / builds well without looking patchy or cakey. Overall, I think it is a beautiful affordable dewy foundation that gives the skin gorgeous healthy glow & will definitely reuse again. (RM59)
Flower Pop Blusher (04 Delicious Love) is Mamonde's only blush product that comes in x6 shades. I purchased shade 04 Delicious Love which is a punchy cool tone pink with some tiny micro glitters. I really love the packaging & the embossing of the flower in the blush, definitely encompasses Mamonde's concept & aesthetic as a whole. The formula is soft & silky but firm to the the touch and picks up / and dispenses product very nicely. The pigmentation of colour is buildable & has a sheen like finish giving the skin a beautiful glow. The blush blends so nicely easily creating a diffused look. The blush also has a very nice floral scent that isn't overpowering. Overall it's a great blush that gives a healthy glow to the cheeks. (RM56)
Creamy Tint Balm Intense (No.1 Bouquet Nudy & No.27 Iconic Rose) is Mamonde's bestseller makeup product up to date, it is a matte lipstick/tint with a creamy velvet feel that comes in x23 shades. I purchased No.1 Bouquet Nudy which can be described as a cool nude mauve shade while No.27 can be described as a punchy cool tone pink similar to the blush shade.
The formula is creamy & glides on the lips effortlessly with no drag or tug. Has very good pigment & the colour coats the lips evenly with a semi-matte velvet finish. The formula feels very lightweight & is non-drying as well as non-sticky feeling. I do notice the formula does sink/collect into fine lines but can easy create an ombre or blurred out look. After several hours of wear my lips still feel very hydrated. Overall I really like the formula & feeling of these Tint Balm & love the x2 shades I purchased, will definitely be reaching for them! Mamonde makeup honestly really surprised me, and I've feel like their products are very underrated & not really spoken bout much. All the products I purchased & experienced performed better than what I expected. Mamonde to me has some solid makeup with elegant & sophisticated packaging that are definitely worth the prices. After reviewing their makeup range, I really want to explore more of what this brand has to offer!
